Weekend Website #13: MS Office--03 to 07

This is a two-fer, for those who are upgrading from Office 2003 to 2007. Here are the sites that will show you where all your favorite commands have gone in that pesky, confusing ribbon at the top of the
screen.

MS Word 2007

Address:

MS Office

Review:

Here’s what you do:

  • Open the site
  • Select the Office software you would like help with. It opens in the 2003 version
  • Hover over the 2003 tool that you are trying to find in 2007. It will show a tool tip that tells you where it is in 2007.
  • If you’re looking for a menu item, click on the menu drop down list and then hover over your selection for the tool tip.

This is a wonderful tool. It has worked every time I’ve tried it. No problems. No confusions. I use Excel and Word constantly for my writing. I dreaded upgrading to 2007 but I have to teach it next school year, so
had no choice. I will be sharing this site with my students.
