Saturday Elluminate Session on Skype
Today was the first time I participated in the Classroom 2.0 Saturday Elluminate session, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to follow along. I have used skype for personal reasons and have always thought that it would be an amazing tool to use in the classroom but never knew where to get more information on how to make it work or who to connect to.
My hope is that I will be able to connect to a few middle years classes who are interested in communicating with a "northern school" in Manitoba, Canada.
I will be talking to other staff members about these Saturday sessions and encourage them to join. Thanks to the Classroom 2.0 team for organizing such an amazing PD resource! It is difficult to find PD that is *free* and available when you live in a small community.
