Possible School-wide addition of Interactive Boards?

Yesterday afternoon, the Health Teacher in the room next door invited the principle to come with her into my classroom. She had seen me using my Promethean Board and was VERY impressed. The principal enjoyed the short few minutes he observed of the board's usage in the classroom. Then when my students began an activity, I invited him to come and play at the board. He saw the many possibilities for math, language arts, social studies, and of course the science I had been showing. In the last few minutes of his visit, the health teacher was advising him of how he should be able to find funding to get these for EVERY classroom at school. By the time they left, there was a serious consideration of providing funding for probably 60-70% of the classrooms for next year. The health teacher came back later and asked me "so did I do ok?" I quickly responded that I was very impressed because the timing was very good for our principal to see how interactive boards can benefit student learning. Time will tell...
