Non-Linguistic Representation, some info please

So I have been researching non-linguistic representation for my masters program, and it has been quite interesting. Very simply, from what I have found, non-linguistic representation is using visuals to help reach those who are not complete auditory learners. I have learned that it is not a highly popular or researched topic. I have found some nifty web sites about it, but not a huge amount of information. I was wondering if anyone out there has any resources, personal stories about this topic, or any ideas for Non-Linguistic Representation??? Anything would help immensely!

Thanks for reading!

Jarrod,

Thanks for the info! I am now wondering what the VARK approach is? We have the VAK approach which stands for Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic. Is the VARK approach similar?
