Today was a really good day for me. My lessons went really smoothly, and student behavior was impeccable. Today was one of those days where I say, "Do I really get paid for this?!?" Haha, not really, but it did go really well.

Here is how my lesson went:

1. Sponge.
2. Review of Biggest Gainer material (in note-taking format)
3. Problem 2.2 in our textbook.

Problem 2.2 is a complex problem that requires the use of manipulative cubes to find the surface area of rectangular prisms. Like I said, it was complex, but the manipulatives helped students solve it. In fact, I saw more "Aha!" faces today than I have in over two weeks. I felt like I really taught the students something today. Even better--no manipulatives were thrown (that I saw) and certainly none hit any students! I hope tomorrow can be more like tdoay.

On a sadder note, I tried again today to get into the U of L library to complete some research, and I was once again locked out. Since February, U of L has kicked me out of their email and their library services. Needless to say, I'm quite peeved.
