Microgrant Opportunities for Educators

There are currently over 20 microgrants available on WeAreTeachers, each microgrant award is $200 and a choice between a Flip Video camera or iPod nano with video. There is also a special program now available focused on recycling and Earth day that will award fifty $1,000 grants. 1. Quality Counts: What tactics do you use to ensure your students are able to access credible information online? Apply by: March 23rd

2. Stepping Beyond the Walls of your Classroom: How do you take your lessons out of the classroom and give your students hands-on experience. Apply by: March 16th

3. Little Steps Make Big Things Happen: How do you help your students plan and organize their time? Apply by: March 16th

4. Understanding Science Through Hands-On Interaction: How do you get your students to "dig deeper' through interactive science lessons and activities? Apply by: March 30th

5. Involve Me and I Learn: As an early childhood educator how do you engage children as active, curious learners? Apply by: April 6th
