Joy of Teaching Day 1
Note: This week I'm on watch for joyful moments in teaching.

Day 1:
Birthdays.
I LOVE celebrating a child's birthday in school. I let the birthday girl or boy choose from four different games, two inside games and two outside games, all take about fifteen minutes or so to play.
Today we played "Apples to Apples". There's nothing like the sound of uncontrollable giggling as partners decide which card to put down and await the verdict. Makes me smile just thinking about it.
So, please share, what brought JOY to YOUR teaching today?
