FREE Tools that I have found effective

Greetings

I wanted to share two tech tools that I have found to be very helpful. The first is for PC and Mac.
It is called DropBox. Perfect for making sure that you have all the files you need in all the computers that you use. For example, when I save a file to the desktop that I use here at school, a copy gets saved to my work laptop, and my desktop at home. The best part is I don't have to email files to myself so that I can finish working on them from home, or worry about using a Jumpdrive to do the same. The files are then accessibe on any of the computers you set up and even via the web on the dropbox site. It is seamless and FREE. You get 2GB of space for free which should be plent of room for all of your documents. If you are interested please use my link as we will both get additional space for my referral (250mb). Oops I almost forgot, they also have an iphone App which is great to view files while on the go. I use it at home to make that my presentations are in order without having to take out my computer.

The next two are Mac only.

The perfect tool when you want to see two windows side by side. All you have to do is drag the window to the right or left side and you will see the markers pop up, release your click and the window automatically sizes itself to take up half of your screen. It is free, every once in a while a demo notification comes up that gives you a chance to pay for the software, all you have to do is click continue demo and it won bother you for a few more days.

Thanks Adam for the info on DropBox. I used your link and I hope you get the extra space. I am going to try the tool and see if it will help me out getting all my files consolidated from my four computers. I really need it. I looked at SugerSync, but I need a tool that is very easy and quick to use. Let me know if I need to do anything else to get you the us that extra free space.
