I have a larger seating capacity (unlimited) if you would be interested. It is Elluminate which is the same platform used by the Classroom 2.0 weekend webinars. Let me know if you are interested so we can coordinate.

That's a good idea. I haven't tried it before, I assume it allows screen-sharing?

When you kit the 'sign in screen', it isn't a password type of thing. Simply type in what you would like to be called by in the room.

Elluminate looks like it will satisfy my needs for this session. How will I start the session myself? Will I need to purchase a copy of it? The cost for a larger meeting room is WAAAY out of my budget.

No need to purchase a copy since I will host the session for you. Just arrive on in and I will give you teacher privileges and tools. We need to coordinate a schedule since the classroom does have classes running out of it. We didn't get a chance to talk about that before you needed to leave. Wednesday morning before 12pm Central would be ideal because we will not have classes that morning. It will be occupied with students in the afternoon.Let me know if you would like practice time before the session.

I think I'd like some practice in advance. Just to make sure everything works smoothly. I live in Bangkok, so 12pm Central time is 12am my time since we are exactly twelve hours ahead of you. The session I am planning would be an hour or so long, and would either take place between 7am and 10am my time, or between 1pm and 5pm my time, depending on the wishes of whomever signs up. So far I only have two participants, but we'll see how it goes!

I have another person from our organization that I have yet to inform of the training. He will be very interested if his schedule will work out. He is a consultant to school districts in California, private tutor, and volunteer with us specializing in math prep for the ACT/SAT test. From what I have seen in the classes he runs for us, he is passionate about geometry. He mentioned purchasing Geometers Sketchpad, or maybe it was Mathcad or Mathica, a few weeks ago, so I know he is in the market for math software. If Geogebra does was he is looking for, I know he will be thrilled with a free alternative. He will quite likely be another participant. I am off to rush an e-mail to him to let him know of the introduction to and training for Geogebra.

Seeing your timezone, how about 9am Central/9pm your time as a start for planning. If participants schedules conflict we still will have plenty of wiggle room since the entire morning is open for the availability of the classroom that Wednesday. We just need to fit it in before 12pm Central because of the classes that run in the afternoon. :0)

From 8 am to 8pm Central, with the exception of a few hours in which I will be in town for errands, I will have the classroom open and available for you to drop in to practice today and throughout the weekend (Western hemisphere). Merely take that link again when you have time. When you arrive, a bell will automatically ring to alert me that you are there. Should I miss hearing it, just click the little icon that looks like a hand with a green up arrow. That will ring the bell again.

I have to schedule this during my workday as we will have participants from my school attending as well. My principal has suggested that we aim for 8am my time (8pm your time), which is a bit outside of the window you are suggesting.

I'm also interested in seeing what your friend thinks of Geogebra, which is software I enjoy using a lot.
