This Christmas the southeastern New Brunswick, is having an impressive list of upcoming concerts and events at their schools.
Here are some that is posted at canadaeast.com:

* Bernice MacNaughton High School will present a performance of the Irving Berlin musical White Christmas Dec. 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and are on sale at the school office. The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. each night in the school's theater.

* The Bessborough, Hillcrest, Harrison Trimble High, and Riverview High school choirs are taking part in the 13th annual Music of the Season concert Thursday at 7 p.m. The concert is being held at Mount Royal Church, located at the corner of Mount Royal Boulevard and Bessborough Avenue. Admission is a free will offering and a reception will follow the concert in the church hall.

* District 2's annual food drive, Fill The Bus, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Last year the food drive had a record year, collecting more than 21,000 pounds of food for the Food Depot Alimentaire. Bernice MacNaughton High School, in particular, collected more than 4,500 pounds of food. Donations of non-perishables can be dropped off at participating district schools.

* A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Dec. 6 to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Father Dan Bohan Centre, 5 Fatima Dr., next to Riverview town hall, followed by the candlelight vigil at the monument in Caseley Park.

Well, saving money is the biggest thing I have in mind for the holidays. I’m going to target anything and everything that can save me money this year. For instance, every year I would buy Christmas wallpaper. And also, participating in Christmas School events and activities is on my Christmas list.
