A few classes ago we made character posters. I really enjoyed that activity. I didn't know that you could do something like that with Excel. I was fun. Being able to make a poster in Excel was unexpected and fun. I enjoyed being able to make a poster about me, about what I am like. I think that this poster making would be good to use in a classroom. It would probably have to be older students because I don't think that K-3 would really be able to do this. I'm still not sure about 4 or 5. I think it would be best suited for Jr. High/Middle School classrooms. I hope that someday I will be able to use this technology in my classroom. If my students are to young to do this themselves, I could still use the technology to make posters of countries/cities/etc that my students could use dry erase markers on. This would be good for hands-on learners.
