When I began exploring Classroom 2.0 last week, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. First I just put a few little things up, invited a few folks, and figured that might be about it. Then I began receiving invites from others, and they were responding to some of my discussions. Now, I have this huge list of resources to explore and whole slew of new teacher friends and an obsessed, just like my college students are with FaceBook. I thnk that is a good thing!!!

On Sunday morning I decided I would just see if I could get any takers to participate in a discussion with my up- coming summer technology class of pre-service teachers. Oh my goodness. now I have a long list and getting longer of teachers "from the trenches" to involve themselves in discussions during my summer technology class of future teachers. And they are not just from the United States. All of this is going to enrich my course so much.I am so excited.

I just have to figure out how to add all the resources that have been shared to my course and get a different Classroom 2.0 space set up just for my class. Boy is this going to be fun. Thank you everyone and if you are reading this and want to participate or just know more, click on discussions and find the one that begins with HELP!!

Use a wiki, at either wikispaces or PBwiki, for your resources. Then you will have it year to year.

I am using Moodle for the course site content, just need to decide what units and where the various resource fit in the content. I do like PBwiki better than wikispaces though. But Moddle serves the purpose for the course, especially when I embed them in readings.
thanks

Why do you like PBwiki better than wikispaces? I am looking to find a wiki site for next year and have used both but can't decide which to try with my students.
