I have not used these programs but thought some of you may be looking for a free image editing program for you classroom use. Listing courtesy of Smosh Forums.
Another version of GIMP is GIMPShop, which makes the GIMP look and feel much more like Photoshop. Makes it an easier entrypoint for those used to Adobe's setup.
My middle school students by the way LOVE ArtRage.
There are also a couple of online web20 photo editors, the one I can think of off hand is Phixr, as its button sits on my toolbar. Obvioulsy it doesn't have the multitude of tools that you find in the more robust editors - but still useful on occasion

Anyone looking for really useful image manipulation software should check out "Irfanview". Our schools use it and it is easy. Download your copy from www.irfanview.com and if you like it, send in some feedback to the author
