I mostly blog through my blog at http://blog.hintonweb.com, but I thought I should at least add an entry here and perhaps I will blog some as well. I have enjoyed being part of the community thus far. I'm cautiously optimistic as to what can come of it. There seem to be some really great, smart people here and so hopefully we'll be able to taken advantage of that synergy. I'm been most interested by some of Kevin Jarrett's stuff thus far and have also gotten a view blogs that I've added to the good old aggregator (I think it's creaking under the weight of all my subscriptions). How do we sustain the community? What are the ultimate objectives, aside from fostering the discussion? I feel like among the community, in addition to mentoring others and discussing Classroom 2.0 ideas, that we should have some, well...objectives. Social Networking seems to be about enabling collaboration and generally collaborative efforts want to produce something or many things. At least for me it's partially about that.

I'm still a newbie here so perhaps with time I'll get it :)

Hey, Brett! I have been hoping that the wiki (www.classroom20.net) could be one of the "objectives." I think it would be nice to have a good resource for actual classroom practices that work.

Steve,

I think that having the classroom20.net wiki be a place to store some of the great resources and ideas in a more permanent format is a terrific "cooperating" goal with the great dialog that goes on here. I for one will try and help make that a resource to complement what goes on here.
