Web 2.0

I spent this last year exploring the many possibilities of Web 2.0 in the classroom. I am still learning and the more I have learned the less I feel like I know. The idea of the Power of the Crowd is a very new concept for our school district so trying to sell that idea will be very challenging. We have begun in small ways and hope to expand our efforts. I am still trying to figure out which sites work the best for student use, the teachers who are beginning to explore in that area are still leery of giving student license to comment on the web. Exploring how others are using it and seeing the wonderful things being done has been great. I hope to be able to put together many examples for our educators to view so they can see some of the possibilities.
