We haven't done a lot, however, in our division we have used it a lot for pd opportunities and inter-school committee meetings. We have also done some collaborative work with other students in the division. My class Grade 2 have participated in…

My district is looking at Tandberg's setup. What has your experience been like since it was installed? Our main question relates to accessing content - what do you find is out there? Have you been able to find other resources with similar…

Hi Elmer, If you haven't tried voicethread , give it a try. This is our first thread, but you can easily see the implications for a science based project. Another option would be animoto, both will cover a lot of your ict outcomes while using…

Wow! I was reading various posts on Animoto and followed your link to your classroom blog. I love it! What a fabulous use of Web 2.0 tools!

I am a complete newbie, but giving it a shot and you have inspired me. What lucky children in your class!
Thank you,
Niki

Hi Rob -- I think I may have driven through Swan River one summer years ago on a cross country trip in my old slant six Dodge. Welcome to the Mashup, but I don't see the banner in your group list, so I think you have one more step:

Click on Sue Hellman above this message to navigate to my page. Part way down on the left is a Canadian map under My Groups. If you click on that and then look beneath the main banner (right of center) on the group page, you should see + Join this Group. Click and that should do it.

Hi Rob -- I'd like to invite you to join a Classroom 2.0 group called Canadians Mashup. I'm trying to build a network of Canadian educators and bloggers. No discussions yet. I'm just starting out by trying to find where everyone lives and what they teach. If you're interested, please add me as a colleague as well.

Interesting gadget -- I'm using the Conduit toolbar which can be cutomized for your own learning community and doesn't have the ads.
