- I am a student for Applied Knowledge Management have have discovered 2.0 as a tool for sharing knowledge. This might not be anything special in the US, but in my country there are not many people who know about these things.
I am a mother of 2 children ( 5 and 7) who I introduce into the world of computers and soon into 2.0 as well.

- Hi Steve, I didn't know that you were involved in that topic. Never mind. They also told me that they are planning to translate Ning into other languages. I am sure this will enable them to win new members as some of us really struggle with English.

Thanks so much! You are the best. No, I'm well aware of the ad-free program (big smile), as I actually consult for Ning and was involved in promoting their decision.
Actually, our network wouldn't qualify, as it is geared toward teachers and not students. But even then, I pay the monthly fee. The computer ad doesn't really ever generate any money, and I'm thinking of just dropping it entirely... who knows...
