About Me
Jo Jenson manages the educational content of the Toolboxes which are a product of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. In this role, Jo also has responsibility for the development of the Online Learning Design Tool; a resource which guides users step-by-step through stages to create high quality, learner-focused course content, and which will generate a learning design template.
With more than ten years experience in the education sector, Jo has developed a strong understanding of adult learning. Coupled with her significant expertise in instructional design and facilitation she has the ability to produce interactive and innovative learning solutions. Jo has created blended learning programs utilising new technologies to support users across a diverse range of industries.
In 2003 Jo was contracted as the instructional designer for the online Postgraduate Certificate in Management at Swinburne University. Since 2000, Jo has been facilitating this program on campus at Swinburne which provides comparisons between on campus and online student behaviour. Jo is also a member of course advisory boards at Holmesglen TAFE. In 2007 Jo completed her Master of Education. Emanating from this research were issues that she considered required further examination and exploration. As a result, Jo is currently completing her Doctorate which is investigating the gap between the learner’s expectations and their actual online experiences.

Hi Jo,

With your work in Digital Tools, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
