Yes, my kids love Tux Paint and we have started to use Tux Math and Tux Typing. A great thing is they can install them at home if they want.

Celia, our K & 1 students are in a separate school. Due to 1/2 day K and academic pressures in grade 1 we no longer have computers for student use at that school. I have some links on the school site for families to use. My school resources page…

My Summer "Vacation"

I guess these are the things I call a vacation:
I started my summer teaching a course with two colleagues in my district on Learning and Teaching with Technology. We have taught courses along this theme for 15 years, but this was the first year with a web2.0 focus. We followed that with the whirlwind experience of NECC07 and that has continued through blogs, twitters, webcasts and into Second Life.
