Hi Ashlyn. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Conferences can be fun, but draining.

I was wondering if you've ever used ExploreLearning's interactive gizmos for science instruction.

It is nice up in the mountains. I haven't been there in a while!

thanks for the note on my page. We must be like spirits, with the interest in science. Keep me attuned to any nature-science projects you do; always interested. I love the pic you have of yourself!

Hi Ashlyn, thanks for the good advice. I'm the first Technology Specialist this district has ever had. I know what you mean about progress happening in small steps. In my previous position of technology coordinator for a large parochial school, I saw that a lot. It's really gratifying to see how teachers progress and work together with the children with enthusiasm. I'll work in a grade school district. I think it'll be easier that a high school. Have a great school year.

Hi Ashlyn. I read your post in the forum. I just got a job as an Instructional Technology Specialist for a district in suburban Chicago. Any advice?
