In my Masters Course we were asked this question to discuss with others. Are students different because of digital media?
I feel that the writing skills of students have decreased lately due to cell phones and spell check programs. I taught a sixth grade class and every other week they were asked to write a 5 paragraph essay on the topic I assigned. I noticed that the students tend to write with text messaging terms.
