About Me
Hey, I'm a grade 5 teacher. Just getting my class into the wide (and exciting) world of blogging. Struggling to get other teacher's in my school to come on board and embrace technology!! Help me out!
Would love to share ideas with others on blogging and how to improve etc.

Hi Narissa! I've just joined this Ning, and you came up on my page as my colleague! I checked out your blog and was very impressed. I do like your idea of putting the posters up by the photocopier. I agree with your thoughts about how hard it can be to get other staff interested in ICT - at least the students share my excitement. We let ours take their netbooks home for the first time tonight - they were so excited! Anyway, happy blogging!

Hello Narissa.
Fancy finding out about a great Australian Teacher's blog via a Canadian teacher who is the daughter of a friend here in Melbourne.I am very impressed with your mazing Web 2.0 journey and the way you have set Goals and documented your progress.I think it's great that with this Network and great people like Edublogs we don't have to be left behind, we can work at our own pace. Makes you reflect on what schools may be doing to curious and self motivated students.Let's not go there. I want to go back to school in a very positive frame of mind.Enjoy the rest of your break. I am off to Bendigo and Echuca for a few days. I hope we will talk again, Cheers, Yvonne.

I'm assembling a 23 things program for my district. I think it will give people who want to try web 2.0 out on their own, with no strings and lots of help, a chance to do that. Unfortunately I think I tried to be too ambitious with the blog page design and got more tangled up in that than in the actual program so I'm running late with it.

We are finishing up our school year in the next few weeks, but I'd be happy to arrange a session with a few of my students if we can coordinate a time during our evening/your day.
