- Following a 35-year career as a classroom educator, I became more active in our NWP affiliate, Red Cedar Writing Project, MCTE, the Michigan Council of Teaching of English and NCTE, the National Council of Teaching of English, and the National Society of Arts and Letters. I am currently completing the m. s. draft of my book about nurturing the motivation of young adolescent writers. I continue to write daily on personal and professional levels.
