About Me
I have worked about 20 years as a teacher in secondary schools and since 2005 I'm inventing new designs of conceptions for learning in projects (Dewey like). Afterwards I proove them in practice and eventually I teach teachers about them; I'm very interested in theory of learning (especially cultural-historical activity Theory, Dewey, constructivism and connectivism and in all new approaches for new learning with new media.) I'm co-founder and member of the www.adz-netzwerk.de which is a large community of experts engaged in school development and change of schoolsystem in Germany. I found this site via Konrad Glogwski's blog www.teachandlearn.ca which I always read with much interest and profit.

The 6th graders at Chichester Central School in Chichester, New Hampshire (USA), would like to invite you to participate in our blog.  We have created a blog, which we hope will allow us to explore varying diets from around the world.  Our goal is to understand what other country’s diets consist of and what they consider to be healthy.  Here in New Hampshire, we eat a lot of seafood and lobsters as we are so close to the Atlantic Ocean.  We also grow and eat fresh corn, apples, strawberries, blueberries and even pumpkins.  If you are interested, please visit our blog at cgagnon@edublogs.org and respond to the “World Diets” page.  If you respond, it would be helpful if you could include which country or area of the world you are responding from.  If you are not interested, it would be much appreciated if you could pass this along to a friend or colleague that may be.

We here in New Hampshire look forward to your response.  Thanks

-Chris Gagnon – 6th grade teacher

Hi Lisa,

With your interest in new learning methods I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Hi Lisa,
I'd love to work together on the international project. In fact, the students in my daughter's class mentioned they wanted to liaise also with Arab students from Jaffa. How would you like to proceed?
