- I am a Masters degree candidate in the Teaching of English program at Teachers College where I began my studies in January 2009. For the past six years I have taught in a number of diverse settings including Guatemala, China, private Quaker schools, the fiction writing workshop, and on trail in a number of wilderness based therapeutic and leadership development programs. I am interested in learning about how technology can be implemented effectively in the classroom, without taking away from a sense of "real" connection and interaction among students.
