Hi Katie! How are you? It was great to hear from you. I hope you had a nice summer as well. I actually spent most of my weekends hanging out in Cape May New Jersey. I love it there. My sister and I went for a little getaway last weekend. How about you? How was your summer.

Tell me a little about your new literacy program; I am interested. Our district just purchased Wilson Fundations and F. and Pinnel for our word study program. Wilson is very scripted; there are pros and cons as with most programs. It is only one component of our overall balanced literacy program.

I love first grade. It is fun to watch the growth that occurs in grade one; they are like little sponges... taking everything in and with such excitement! It's great!

I hope to talk to you soon.

Hi Kati! I am so glad you could join. Both my student teacher from this year and last year are now members. I will set up a little group for the four of us. Hope you are enjoying your summer!

Is this for elementary aged students? I was a special education teacher before I became a high school principal. I taught emotional support.
