About Me
I have taught for 16 years- 10 years in 5th grade, 4 years as a Media Specialist (missed my classroom too much), and 2 in 4th grade as part of a looping series for four years. I have taught gender based classes, self-contained, and almost every kind of teaming configuration you can imagine. This year I'm teaching Social Studies-American History and Writing for our fifth grade team of 80 students.

Hello, Harrow. My name is Ken Greene and I am the general music teacher and choir director at Ridgeway Middle School in Memphis, Tennessee. I was wondering if you would be interested in participating in a classroom exchange using a web application called Voicethread. My students and I have been connecting with educators and students around the world through technology such as Classroom 2.0 and Voicethread in an effort to learn from each other, discover what we have in common, and strengthen appreciation and awareness of diverse world cultures. Voicethread is VERY easy to use and allows us to communicate with each other through text, voice, or video comments. Take a look at my page to get an idea of what we've been up to -http://www.classroom20.com/profile/KenGreene . You can also have a look at this vociethread greeting my students posted earlier this month - http://voicethread.com/#u406170.b674819.i3567443 . My school music web site is http://web.me.com/knrgreene/RMSMusicMediaNetwork/Welcome.html . Hope to hear from you! Best Regards. Ken Greene
