Learning To Walk Before You Can Run - The Hierarchy Of Learning

In simple terms you must, walk before run. Learning must take place one step at a time. However, many students expect to go from A to Z without learning everything in the middle. For example, in…

Thanks for adding me as a colleague Donnie. It's nice to make your acquaintance.
I just checked out your website and was really impressed. Your Flash intro is totally cool.
To reflect the sentiment of your latest blog post; it's educators like you that really make a difference. You are obviously a very dedicated teacher and in my experience that is one of the greatest things an individual can aspire to. All the best in the new school year!

Glad to see you here, too, Donnie. I have attended some of the Elluminate workshops on Saturdays and got some really good information. Have you sat in on any of these?

This is brand new to me so ....... I was looking for a social networking I could use with my relatives. I can see this one is for educators using 2.0. I just finished a course on Web 2.0. It was exciting but overwhelming, so this is perfect for me. My favorite tools were the voicethread and delicious.

Do you know where I can start a social networking site for my extended family?

Hi Donnie,

With your work in Education Technology incorporation for your community college, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

hi Donnie, I'm a school teacher from NEpal. We dn't have technology at school. No computers/net. we are struggling for collecting basic needs like pen and paper. How can we think of 21st century style of learning here? Can u sponsor at least one computer as an inittiation? lol. then we can step on that net world.

Donnie,

I am kind of new at this but thought I would email you. Looks like I need to update my profile. I teach automotive at Macksville as well as some Ag classes and Computer tech classes.
