The new Bloom's taxonomy lists "creating," as the top level; consequently, I am quite interesed in developing lessons that encourage the creative mind. More importantly, I see the value of the "synthesizing" mind, perhaps because of the synthesis essay my students are required to write on the AP exam. This week my students practiced teamwork during our literature circles discussions of a novel.
We could incorporate technology into our analysis of text easily by teaming my students with students from another school and adding those students to our literature circles or even better our Socratic Seminars!

This is a cool class! I can't wait to become a Network Teacher so my students will be Network Learners.
