Train Music Program

Posted on January 17, 2008 at 10:32am 0 Comments

I am doing a Kindergarten music program about trains. I already have some cute ideas, but wanted some more. The songs I have already found are: Engine, Engine #9, I've been Working on the Railroad, Down By the Station, Get On Board, Little Red Caboose, A Long Way Home, Freight Train, and Clickety Clack. I need ideas for costumes, scenery, movement, more songs, etc.

Hi Christina,
I have worked extensively with children and adults in songwriting.
I would be happy to share some ideas about songwriting and music technology with you.
Cheers,
Gavin

Christina,
Go to tinypic.com and upload your video there. It will give you a url that you can post!

OK, I added "Music" in the subject area. Now, that's just going to pull up any forum posts that are "tagged" with the phrase "music." I agree with Liz that you might want to consider starting a music group (see if there isn't one already...)

Take care!

Hi Christina,
I'm sure Steve Hargadon would be happy add a music category for you (I can't edit the main page). That is a great idea. Why don't you leave a comment for him. If you don't hear back from him, let me know and I will email him. The other thing you could do is create a group for music teachers. Anyone can create a group, just click on the groups tab at the top of the page and then click the link in the left column to create your group.

Hope this helps.

Hi Christina,
Welcome to Classroom 2.0! There is a music player at the very bottom of the left column on the Main page. If you add music or a podcast it will show up there. You can also add a music player to your own page. Does that answer your questions?
