New thing. Didn't really know what to do, so I started small talk.
I am strongly considering taking a personal day on Friday. I was planning to speak with the ZWMS 8th grade band students and only missing my 3rd period class. Then Josh invited me to watch the ZMS jazz band concert at ZMS in the morning. Then I realized the IBA Junior All-State Band performs at 1pm. I was thinking that concert would take place on Saturday. I have 2 students playing in that and don't want to miss it. Are you going to IMEA?

Great group idea. There's much out there...I'm a middle school band director doing double time as a music tech teacher now. Been using Sony Acid with 8th graders..with much success...
