I am wondering if anyone is already using ipods in the elementary classroom and how you are using them. I will be getting a cart of ipod touch after Christmas break. I have been playing with apps on my own touch and have found some that are great for first graders. I am having them practice writing their word wall words on the doodle app., practicing math facts, etc. I imagine that we can work on fluency with the record feature.
