Hi Allison,

I am completing a practicum in online learning at UW Stout.   I chose your article "A Summary of Research on the Effectiveness of K-12 Learning to annotate.  I noticed you worked in Clark County.  My son Elliot Anderson was elected to the State Legislature in Nevada from District 15 in Las Vegas and he thinks the online charter school is in his district.   Is this the same school you started?   Thanks for promoting online education.

Sounds good. Math, especially Algebra 1 is a high need area. Algebra 1 is the number one failed class across the country. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Welcome Allison,
I saw a nacol presentation on Eluminate a while back. I was doing research on what would be the best, or fastest growing subject to tutor online. I remember that they said it was math, and algebra in particular, as the greatest need. That's what I'm going in to.

Allison,
Your organization sounds very interesting. I would like to know more about what you're involved in. Going to check out your website.
