Hi everyone. I'm a primary (elementary) school teacher from New Zealand, also a Deputy Principal. New to Voicethread but very excited about the possibilities I've looked at so far. I'm involved in the Global Education Conference 2010 - another new and exciting challenge.

Is anyone having trouble with inked comments on various slides coming up on the same slide?

Am I supposed to make student accounts for my students in order for them to comment on the Voicethreads I have created?

Hi Susan,

I'm a French teacher in California. Here's a sample of a voicethread I did with a French 2 class (high school). http://voicethread.com/share/847476/They were comparing a Senegalese sand painting to a poem they had read by Jacques Prévert. Like many creative activities, their language isn't perfect, but I was pleased with their efforts as they tackled the task...it is cognitively demanding to make connections between dissimilar objects!

I just made a voicethread to crowdsource a project-based study of history. I'm hoping people will flex their creative muscles and toss out great ideas. Zoom in and chime in: http://voicethread.com/share/1259332

We have made a Voicethread in 6 languages to introduce our European Union funded project The European Children’s Traveling Language Library http://www.eulib.eu/home.html - we will be making a global association later.
