Permalink Reply by Karl Schaefer on February 22, 2011 at 12:37pm I have been working on a project with my group of 5th grade students. To read more about this project go to my blog 528 Digital Learning.
I would love to get other classes to add to this VoiceThread. Please take the opportunity to add your sentence, have your class add their sentences, and figure out who those two people are. Pass this VoiceThread along to any one who might want to add to it. All I ask is that the work be serious in nature. If you have a video camera, record video, if you have a good microphone, record audio, or if you only have a keyboard, type the sentences. I would suggest if you are typing that you use a Word Processor to type the sentence and then copy and paste it into the comment as while any sentence is good, a misspelled sentence seems less educational.
Permalink Reply by Alexandra Briggs on March 17, 2011 at 5:08am Hi everyone,
I'm an ITRT (Instructional Technology Resource Teacher) for WJCC PS in Williamsburg, VA. I help teachers use technology in the classroom. Right now, we're using VoiceThread in World Language classrooms (grades 6-12). If anyone is interested in collaborating, please contact me!
Thanks,
- Ali
Permalink Reply by Clair Taylor on May 23, 2012 at 6:56pm I'm doing a project this month where my uni students in Japan are taking photos of a meal and describing it on VoiceThread. Another class from Bulgaria may be taking part, too. If anyone has a class of students who'd like to do the same thing, that would be great. Students will enjoy seeing what people in other countries eat.
My students are low-intermediate level, 18-19 years old, and lovely!
