What activities have you had your students participate in that have kept them engaged and motivated in your Spanish lessons?

Good motivators are those where the students are actively participating.  Upper levels of Spanish I teach by cultural units.  We research Spanish artists, create some presentation of what they learned in Spanish, and then we attempt to replicate the type of art the artist was known for.  Another unit was directed about Bullfighting.  We researched the history, about bullfighters and their life, opinions about Bullfights from different view points, and then there is a presentation in Spanish to show knowledge.

Thanks Kris.  My students are almost always actively participating; I just think I have to adjust my learning activities.  We are currently in the unit of Spain so it is an appropriate time to implement these ideas.  I'll let you know how it goes.  Thanks.
