Good point Kelly. I think you can see straight through people when they are not being honest, particularly in a coaching role. Good help and support comes with honest feedback.
I think a great peer coach is one in who has expertise in their field but doesn't just "top down" deliver it to another. You can "nudge" someone to the conclusion by asking leading questions and reflecting statements back to the person so they can thoughtfully put together a conclusion and plan of action.
