Comment by Elizabeth A. Linsey on October 27, 2012 at 4:21pm: Yesterday, we began this unit and I tried to find something the kids could relate to and came up with comparing government, its leaders and the constitution to a club students might belong to.

One student wanted to belong to a club for Bacon Lovers. I thought one possibility to getting the students more interested and involved would be to have them write a "constitution" for a club they might belong to... Any thoughts?
