Imaging MAC Lab for a new school year
Our school is planning to create a new image for the MACs in our lab.
What are the MUST HAVE items for the new image?

Thanks. We have a Mac lab for the students, but the teachers and the classroom computers (2 - 4 per classroom) are all PC. We are thinking of using Google Apps for next year to make file sharing between the two systems easier. Are you using Google Apps?

Keynote, Pages, iMovie and GarageBand are a must. My first graders can do amazing things with Keynote (similiar to PowerPoint) including digital book reports, continent presentatipons and money slideshows. I also use keynote and iMovie to present information to students. Pages is simiar to Word. My students use it to make self protraits, picture sof hteir favorite seasons, diagrams of bees, etc. Garage Band is great for recording audio books and other podcasts.
