Is anyone using Facebook at their school?  Is it used to inform parents?  Is it used for instruction?  Any thoughts would be helpful.  Thanks.

Looking for some KS teachers that may be interested in a LiveStream about the Moon or Lifecycle of Plants using Adobe Connect. The programs last only about 1/2 hour - 45 minutes and is primarily a pilot program. We've already successfully completed 4 of these to 3 schools and looking to increase it's potential by presenting to other classrooms and generate feedback. These are free to your classroom til the end of the school year. If this is successful we will continue next year, but there will be a minimal fee attached. Is anyone using other social media like twitter to communicate ideas? I have found good resources there.

I'd love to connect with other teachers in KS. I seem to be the only teacher in my district using web based technology. HELP!
