Comment by Cory Phillips on November 15, 2012 at 4:59pm Have anyone used videolicious on their iPad to help students with written expression? I have seen it in a demo, but have not used it myself. I know that it allows students to verbally express their ideas before the writing process begins. Does anyone have more insight to this program and how they use it to teach the writing process?

Comment by Mark A. Corey on August 28, 2012 at 10:19am So the second year of our 1:1 iPad initiative has begun with the renewed spirit and consistency of our teaching staff I feel this year will be an amazing year of growth and effective technology in our classrooms. I hope to add to the discussion as time goes on and answer questions for those that have them. Have a great school year.

Comment by Heather MacCorkle Edick on June 19, 2012 at 8:29am I'm glad to hear that some folks are interested in the product. I recommend trying out other apps in the store that let you share ideas with your students as well. A quick search revealed GoClass. I do love the polling feature, though, on Nearpod.
Comment by Amanda Urbanczyk on June 15, 2012 at 11:28am Here's a link to a blog post I wrote about NearPod as well! http://springboardmedia.tumblr.com/post/25113413555/pacing-presenta...
Comment by Jodi Judd on June 14, 2012 at 9:10pm Thanks for sharing that info about Nearpod. I'd never heard of it, but after reading your blog, Heather, I'm going to check into it! Thanks :)

Comment by Heather MacCorkle Edick on June 14, 2012 at 5:27pm I'd like to share a recent blog post that I wrote about an application called Nearpod. It is similar to other apps on the iTunes app store and can replace the clickers that some teachers have been using to check in with students during a session. It can be used online, too, for distance education. If you are interested, here is the URL: http://iarumac.com/wordpress/?p=560
