Thanks, Roger: I went there and posted about the NFB's March 15 press release: "Adoption of Google Apps Program Discriminates Against the Blind - National Federation of the Blind Asks Department of Justice to Investigate Schools Across the Country".

There is quite a discussion going on at http://www.classroom20.com/forum/topics/liveedu-vs-google-apps-for?... debating live@edu Vs Google Apps for Education. Some of you might want to jump in. Which is better google cloud apps or microsoft cloud?

Hi all, our school in northern Sweden will be part of a pilot study focusing on cloud services and we'll be trying GoogleApps so this apparently is the place to be :) I've been using Google services - both private and at work - since 2004 but the Apps world is all new to me.

I'll try to attend as many of the GoogleApps for Edu 101 Webinar Series events as possible, starting today Wednesday March 16. Hope to see you there!

Hello,

I am the founder of Class.io (http://class.io) and programming languages teacher at UNITEC.

One of our goals is to make easier to use Google Apps for Education in the Classroom, specially Google Docs and Google Calendar.

I hope that some of you are willing to try it and I would also like to learn about how teachers are using Google Apps and other technologies in innovative ways.

Greetings :)

I am currently a student majoring in education, currently in one of my classes we are discussing the topic of blogging. I was wondering if anyone had any feed back on this topic, because as for me I want to ultimately teach elementary students, and find that this is something that only older students should do just because of privacy issues and what not. What are your thoughts?

I am currently a college student majoring in special education that was just introduced to Google Docs. Not only has this tool been very useful for my current classes but by using this tool I have had many ideas on how to use it in the future. One of the most useful points of Google Doc is that teachers can access the document throughout the writing process in order to provide feedback. When i start my classroom experiences I will be sure to use Google Docs.

New member here...Definitely looking forward to sharing experiences with google apps. I've used docs and sites in my classes, but I'd really like to learn sketchup. I teach a housing class and I think it would be great to have kids design stuff. Any experienced users of sketchup out there? Got any good resources/tutorials? Thanks!!
