Hello fellow Canadians!

Let's show the world just how innovative we are.  We just kicked-off an all-new (Canadian) web curation project that not only keeps kids safe, but enhances kids' learning and exploration on the Internet.

We're gathering leading educators to rebuild the web for kids in a way that lets them use the Internet earlier, highlights the best content and reduces noisy clutter on the web.

It's going to take some time and effort... There's just so much stuff on the Internet that has to be sorted through in order to find the hidden gems that we remember and use over and over again.  So tell us, what gems have you discovered?

Better yet, share them here: webspaces.kiwicommons.com  Let's spread the word and change lives; show the world what Canadians can do!

Tried the link but it didn't work for me. I'd be interested in collaborating on this project -- especially given the state of Canadian laws wrt privacy and use of online media (copyright). You might also want to put up a notice or start a group in CEET (http://ceetbc.ning.com/) which is an educator network started in BC.
