I'm looking to introduce a virtual field trip as part of my eighth grade Anne Frank unit that's coming up. I am thinking of having students just use her museum site to explore her hiding spot and then blogging about their reactions. I have never done a virtual field trip or had students blog in my class.
This sounds great, so far! Another idea is to make a PowerPoint presentation with pre-selected sites (by you) and then have them blog, answer questions about the site, etc. ( I took a course on this topic back at San Diego State.)
