Permalink Reply by Katy Scott on May 2, 2011 at 12:47pm I work with a middle school teacher who had her 7th-grade students create digital stories, in part using Geogebra.
The students were creating motion graphs showing distance over time. They created a video of a person walking, then stopping, then running, then walking back. They then graphed this motion using Geogebra.
Finally, they used a screencasting tool to show the video, with their voice narration, followed by the Geogebra graph, with their narration. The videos turned out really good, and the project helped students better understand the connection between actual scenarios and their graphic representations.
