The past few months, there's been a lot of buzz about netbooks and similar technologies that may hopefully make portable hardware more attainable for schools. I’ve been giving serious thought to the implementation of netbooks and similar technology in schools as a way to make 1-1 initiatives more affordable and sustainable in various settings.

To get get a better idea of how other educators see netbooks impacting their programs, if I created a survey. If you enter your email or Twitter name, I’ll notify you when the survey is complete.

Anyone here using netbooks or similar hardware - Classmates, XOs, Neos, etc.?
Any 1-1 programs using them or considering moving from traditional laptops to netbooks?
