Study skills, Learning and questions students need to ask.

I have recently worked on a lesson plan vis a vis asking students how they learn, positive and negative learning experiences they've had, and so on. My students are fairly low-level ESL students, so this took some time - but eventually they grasped some of the ideas on the benefits of reflection, and how powerful their learning can be when they take charge of it.

One students identified that in class, she needed to ask more questions, but then discovered that she actually didn't know what questions to ask - nor how to phrase them - so she simply never asks!

I've found lots of information on how teachers can ask questions to encourage their students to participate more, but does anyone know of model questions students can ask their teachers?
