There has been some rumblings of this before but they sailors of the Vendee Globe are officially on their way around the world and skipper Rich Wilson is http://ehrweb01.aaas.org/sail/ and has interesting videos, maps and for easy integration.

My grade 4/5 students (in Australia) will be so excited as Rich has answered some of their questions on his website. Many of the resources there are just great! I also encourage all teachers to take a look at it.

It's now day 120 of the Vendee Globe race and Rich is just hours from the finish line.
