Often, students write stories that only their class and teacher hear.  Shayna Swann’s second grade class and Jennifer Cardwell’s English students in Trussville City School spent last Friday working through the writing process to great success.   Shayna’s class published their final pieces today using VoiceThread which allows the reader to not only see an illustration and the actual writing piece, but also hear the students read their work.  Please take a moment to visit the project link (http://voicethread.com/share/1037218/ ) and leave a comment for a student or two about their story.  To leave a comment, go to the page you want to leave a comment.  Select the word comment above the play button in the middle bottom.  You can leave an audio comment or a text comment.  They would love to see that people comment on their stories.

Hi April,
I may have a class that would be interested. Our second grade classes have published a number of digital stories. They are located here: http://blogs.jefftwp.org/wordpress/briggsschoolproductions. We also use skype to connect with schools. Would you be interested in a book talk or a story writing project?
