Problems With Picasa3

Hi,

Picasa runs very slowly and often shows "not responding" also if I move it to the task bar everything else slows up badly. When I am not running Picasa I have no problems with any other programmes.This problem is with my other laptop with Windows XP, I have tried uninstalling Picasa and and then downloading it again, also I have de fragged and run a disk clean up and have run a full scan with Malwarebytes (all clear) so i am now at a loss as to what to try next.Any help much appreciated.

Please help.
